Pentlands Men’s Shed was selected as one of three local good causes to get some funding from the Co-op Local Community Fund in 2020/2021. The amount depended on how many people who shop at the Co-op chose to support our cause. Thanks to the fantastic support from the community, we have been awarded the magnificent sum of £1495.22 for the year.
This will help us to keep the Shed moving forward over the next year, and is a welcome boost to our finances at a time when we can’t do much to generate income due to the effects of Covid. A number of members turned out to accept the cheque from staff at the Corslet Place branch in Currie.
