Creating and editing website posts

For any budding authors, the following guides contain some basic instructions on creating posts to go onto the Shed website.

Either: Click here for a basic “Part 1” guide that explains how to create a simple post that anyone can read.

Or: If you want to edit a post that you have previously created, or restrict a post to be visible only to members of the Shed, there is also a “Part 2” guide that explains this: click here to read it.

Please note that to be able to create posts you need to have a different level of access: please contact Iain Millar if you want this capability.

Drilling perspex

Drilling perspex

QUESTION: (Lyall Downie)

I have 2 whisky barrels done up to use as tables in the garden. I want to fit perspex tops as the wood is not level. Whats the best way to drill holes without damaging the perspex?

I was going to order the perspex cut to size and pre drilled however the circumference of the barrel tops varies.

The Perspex will be screwed to the rim of the barrel which is only 10mm wide. The circumference varies between 55.5 and 56.5 cm hence the reason for drilling the holes myself, rather than having them pre-drilled.
