Good news this week, Ali Mac has confirmed the award monies are still coming to us once the council get into gear so hopefully by the end of next week Lyall will be able to tell us that this is in our bank account.

Thursday again and I think I must have been at a low point last week as this week seemed to go much quicker even though I was doing much the same. A few good days of weather always helps so maybe by tomorrow afternoon things will have changed again but it may keep the day trippers at bay for a wee while.

I was going to order the perspex cut to size and pre drilled however the circumference of the barrel tops varies.
The Perspex will be screwed to the rim of the barrel which is only 10mm wide. The circumference varies between 55.5 and 56.5 cm hence the reason for drilling the holes myself, rather than having them pre-drilled.
Yes it’s that time of the week again!
Hello everyone,
It has been a busy week for those members I’ve been in contact with and I’m sure the rest of you are also managing to beat the lockdown blues in some way or another, at least the weather is still holding out for outside jobs which is good.

Hello everyone once again,
It’s becoming quite difficult to remember which day of the week it is as the routine is much the same weekend or weekday. I’m still managing to get up in the morning at a reasonable time but the times for coffee or tea are definitely increasing and my wife says at long last i’m starting to pace myself (I think she means I’m beginning to realise my age!).

The end of another month and just a hint of sunnier days this week before the rain came down and the cold wind got up again.

The weather has been pretty good this week, cold at times but sunny enough to let me know my DIY solar panels are working well. Whatsapp today suggests we’ve all being in our own sheds or at least getting around to sorting them out. Alastair McKenzie has moved and re-roofed his, Alistair Mac has obviously got back into gear and has at least three jobs on the go!
