Hi

Evening all.

WOOD STORE
Well, the weather looks horrendous for tomorrow and Saturday with the 11th storm of the yer hitting the UK with rain, snow and high winds, so we better check the 'new' wood store roof to ensure the temporary covering that John stapled on doesn't fly away!!!
The good news is that Jamie Kerr from Thornbridge sawmills in Sighthill has arranged delivery of the shiplap wood between 1030 and 1230 on Monday 8th April.

SKANSKA VOLUNTEER DAYS
Scott Lawrence also spoke about getting a couple of his joiner/carpenters to attend the Men's Shed as part of their volunteering days once the better weather gets here (if ever). So between now and then, if there is anything specific you would like them to help wither ask their advice about a particular aspect of their work, make a note and we can enlist their help. They seem to be very keen to help us.

SHEDDERS OWN PROJECTS
Remember that the shed is there for members to bring their own stuff in to work on. Perhaps the shed has a tool that will make the job easier... Bring it in so we can offer help and advice (or slag it off😂)

SCOTT GREENWOOD
I spoke with the Funeral Directors and found out that the online donation page called MuchLoved donate to the deceased's chosen charity on a monthly basis and to expect a donation to the Shed funds in the next two weeks or so. According to the Tribute page for Scott, £825 has been donated so far, and I am sure Lyall will let us know when it hits the bank account.

BARBECUE
We should really talk about what needs to be done to complete the barbecue so that when the weather DOES improve we will be able to use it immediately.

VARIOUS SCHOOL PROJECTS
We are waiting on the respective schools to come back to us with further instructions/materials.

That's it for tonight folks. See you tomorrow at the Shed.

Keep well.
Best Regards,

Rab Mason
