Hi

Evening all.

SHED CHRISTMAS LUNCH
Well,I think a good time was had by everyone who attended. I certainly enjoyed my fish and chips and the follow up few whiskies with Stewart, Davy, and Lyall. I even managed to take Lyall's mobile phone by mistake when I left the Riccarton Inn, (it's identical to mine) only noticing when someone rang it when I was in the car on the way home. I decided to find Lyall's house and drop it in, but when I rang the doorbell, his wife answered and wondered who the hell I was!!!! (He told me he was going home when I left the pub!!!). So I went back to the Ricci and there he was, chatting away to a couple of women. You just can't keep a good man down!!!

KINDLING
Looks like we have plenty of stock now, hopefully we'll sell a few bags in the the next couple of months to top up the finances.

CURRIE BOLWLING CLUB - HUGH THOMSON'S 60TH
Hugh Thomson has invited everyone to the club at 7pm this Saturday 30th January for some banter and beverages etc. It's to celebrate his 60th birthday. Karaoke, dominoes, chess are all on offer. I won't be able to attend as I'm attending a 60th birthday party in the Colinton Inn at the same time. Hugh is putting up £100 prize money for the club's inaugural Pétanque tournament. He's been a great supporter of the Shed and was instrumental in getting it up and going. Hopefully you'll get along and support Hugh and his local club.

CURRIE PRIMARY SCHOOL READERS VOLUNTEERS
Emma from the school will attend our Monday meeting at around coffee time to talk about the ins and outs of the volunteering scheme for Shedders reading to the youngsters at the school.

ACE IT VOLUNTEERS AT DAVIDSON HOUSE
I have registered my interest at the email address specified so I will let you know how things progress. I'm quite happy to spend time helping others to master a bit of IT!!!

That's it for tonight folks. See you tomorrow at the Shed.

Keep well.
Best Regards,
