Hi

Well for me it was back to Currie for last Friday's shed meeting and then into action culminating in the placing of the container at the shed just before 5 o’clock tonight. The driver’s day did not go to plan but he did us proud both on pick up from Heriot Watt and placing exactly where we wanted it with no dramas and about 3m reach to spare on his crane. The grand reveal will be tomorrow morning for those present but until we get the last support fixed it will not be open for parties. With a bit of luck tonight I’ll finish the welding of the support and do a test fit in the morning if all goes to plan.
Jan, John, Stewart and Alastair were there in the morning and busied themselves with pallet stripping, paving etc as the container had not arrived. Stewart stood guard on road clearing over lunchtime and early afternoon and then was there with Alistair, Bill and Martin when the container arrived. As you will see tomorrow folks it sits nicely on all the pads so well done to the groundwork team also.
More discussion tomorrow on what we do regarding invited speakers on selected topics and the usual chat and work or planning for it, including some communal projects that John has been researching for autumn activities and Christmas sales for funding so I’m going to say cheerio for now, have a beer or two and relax... until tomorrow!.
Take care, hope to see some of you tomorrow,
Regards
Alister
