There are 20 of us attending tomorrow, so it should be a good laugh!! The Shed funds are healthy enough to subsidise each shedder's meal for £10, so that should help with the cost of living. I have let the Ricci Inn know our food requirements, so they will have ordered in the necessary grub. I'll bring each of your menus with me (including Alistair 2 sheds) so you can recall what you actually ordered. Please bring CASH if you can manage it. It makes things easier when we come to pay for it all.

Regarding the tip... I have made a spreadsheet with everyone's choices on it, added them up and then added a 10% tip ROUNDED UP TO THE NEAREST POUND to make it easy to pay for the meal. If anyone doesn't like the idea, you'll need to let me know when we get there.

For example a shedder has ordered Haggis scones as a starter (£8) and sausage and mash as a main (£16) less his deposit of £5, making a total to pay of £19. A tip would be £1.90 The spreadsheet rounds up the tip to £2. We will then subtract the shed subsidy of £10 so he will end up paying £11 instead of £21. Simples!!!!

The Currie Primary School Atrium clear-up progresses well, and the wood store floor is looking really neat. Well done guys!! A few of have volunteered for reading to students at nether Currie Primary School so we shall see how that progresses in the coming weeks. There is an up to date project sheet in the shed if anyone is interested.

FROZEN PIPES AND COLD WEATHER

Let's hope the cold weather doesn't bring any frozen pipes with it this year. Make sure your loft/attics are well enough insulated to stop the pipes freezing. My outside tap is frozen solid just now.
