Well, the CCTV project is moving forward, but Alister is up North (probably facing the full force of Babet) so I don't suppose much work will get done till he gets back. I reckon we only have the following items to complete...but it looks like we're going to get a lot of rain tomorrow so it could be a morning in the hall for most shedders.

We have around 6 shedders going to Livvie, I won't be able to go, but we should be able to arrange cars etc tomorrow.

NETHER CURRIE PRIMARY SCHOOL - Bird boxes

Emma Thompson took delivery of the bird boxes on Monday and will install them in the school grounds with the students before the end of the year. She was very pleased with them.

No further news from Claire Pope, but as the schools are on their half-term break, that's expected. I'll get in touch with her when the schools are back.

We have finally completed the last planter. All that needs doing is getting it there and joining the two halves. Once the school is back, we'll complete the task.

SMSA have written to us asking if we want to attend the ceremony...as well as the SMSA AGM.

Register to attend the SMSA AGM & 'Scottish Men's Shed of the Year' Awards 2023
SMSA members can register to attend the SMSA AGM and 'Scottish Men's Shed of the Year' Awards 2023 on Friday 10th November 2023, 10am to 3pm at Carse of Gowrie Men's Shed, Swan House, 2 Explorer Rd, Dundee DD2 1GB. A networking lunch will be provided.
Hear from the SMSA on its key highlights of the year and future plans as well as some announcements on the day that you won't want to miss. There will also be plenty of time for networking throughout the day to allow members to connect, learn and share.
The event incorporates the popular 'Scottish Men's Shed of the Year' Awards 2023 where this year's winner and two runners-up will be revealed. Who will be crowned this year's winner? The three 2023 finalists are Banff, Macduff and District Men’s Shed; Carluke Men’s Shed; and Carse of Gowrie Men’s Shed and there is still time to vote until midnight on Sunday 29th October 2023.
