INSULATION FOR WOOD STORE CONTAINER

If you have any offcuts of insulation lying about the house, could you bring it to the shed when it's convenient. We'll use it to insulate the roof space.

Scrap aluminium has a reasonable value so if you are able to bring your empties to the shed, we'll flatten them (or you can do it for a bit of exercise) and once we have a reasonable amount, take them to the scrappie for money. It's all part of the Shed ethos of recycling. We may as well get the value rather than the council.

Before entering Parliament, Joanna had been in practice as an Advocate for 20 years. She became a QC in 2009 and is ranked by the Legal 500 as one of the leading QCs in Scotland. She previously held the offices of Standing Junior Counsel to the Scottish Government and Advocate Depute and was one of the first specialist sex crimes prosecutors in the Crown Office’s pioneering National Sex Crimes Unit. She has appeared at the UK Supreme Court on a number of occasions, including twice on behalf of the Lord Advocate. She co-authored the textbook ‘Mental Health & Scots Law in Practice’.

Joanna has been a member of the SNP since 2008 and has long supported independence and home rule. During the Referendum she co-founded and led “Lawyers for Yes”, a group of around 200 lawyers who had a high profile during the campaign and promoted the desirability of continuing EU membership for an independent Scotland. We've now got a couple of tree trunk cutting stations suitable for shedders to sit at and chop kindling. It's a fun way to have a bit of banter with other shedders whilst keeping yourself warm. We'll even bring you a hot beverage and a biscuit!!!

| LOTHIAN MEN'S SHED NETWORK MEETING |
| Tim Green from the SMSA has informed us that Corstophine Men's Shed are hosting the next meeting of the Lothians Men's Shed Network at their shed at 5 Kirk Loan Corstorphine EH12 7HD on Thursday 31st August 1300hrs. I'll attend as chairman, and if there is anything you want me to raise with them, please let me know asap. (I'm also looking for a buddy to come with me). |
A group from the shed attended the show and the consensus was that it "was poignant and thought provoking". Everyone enjoyed the actor Ron Emslie's performance as a reluctant shedder.

SHEDDER'S CHRISTMAS LUNCH
