Hi

It's Thursday again and some news this week. The SMSA want nominations for Shed of the Year 2023. Here's the link so you can check it out.

I'm sure we can put together a case - the three lads from Foresters, our work in the community, stuff like that...

On Monday Alister, Stewart and I helped clear out a garage in Bryce Crescent and there is (once again) a trove of material to sift through. Some of it may be useful to the Livingston shedders, so we need to decide what to reserve for them: they will be at our shed next Friday the 28th July.

Some of us are going to lunch at the Riccarton Arms tomorrow, assembly at 1230 sharp, suited and booted!! Alex Cox will inspect the troops and those that pass muster can sit beside the blonde 24 year old female athlete who has agreed to attend. At this point my nose is starting to grow longer and longer...

The Currie PS Nursery have requested a 'Busy Board' so I have added it to the project register.
I have given up work completely now, so our supply of free pallets has ended, but there's a chap just round the corner from me with half a dozen and I am hoping we can get them tomorrow once we empty Alister's trailer, currently at the shed.

Our roving reporter John Wilson, currently in Bratislava (where's that??) sipping beer and living the high life... wait till you get back John, the shed needs your organisational skills to keep the mountain of tools and equipment in good order.

We are thinking of keeping 2 tools for Shed use and disposing of the rest, either for scrap or donations to other shedders; what do you think. We need to discuss it tomorrow!! The drawers and cupboards are sagging under the weight of excess kit.
That's it for now folks, so keep well and hope to see you tomorrow.

Best Regards,
