Hi

Work for the shed continues! This week we have collected slabs supplied by Keith and moved by workgroups based at Keith’s, the shed, and ferrying by Iain and Alistair. The next day they were placed around the perimeter of the area of the Portacabin and blocks for siting the portacabin were also put in place. This mean that we will not be walking in Mud as we position the portacabin. At the same time landscape planting was underway on the slope with plants which were donated to us.
Tomorrow if all goes to plan we will lay fabric under where the portacabin is going and then we will be ready for the delivery of a shed!
We are currently awaiting a quote from RD Anderson for moving the Portacabin to site, this is being done through the same contractor as did the ground clearing for us and we should hear about that either tomorrow or early next week.
John Wilson hosted a brainstorming of ideas and plans for the portacabin at our last Friday meeting which had a good turnout and a distillation of the work required and priorities assigned to it is is now up on the website for all to see.
Iain Millar is working on an AGM agenda and date and will be circulating this to all members individually in due course and it is important that as many as possible attend this in order to comply with our constitution and the Charity rules. Iain has agreed to be acting secretary until the AGM as Ian McPherson does not have the necessary facilities digitally at present to do this. Ian is still a Trustee along with Lyall and myself so nothing has changed there.
Now I’m going back to puzzle out my own shed which arrived today – it is supposed to be a 4’x6’ but may be a 6’x4’ and although modular they are not quite the same!! Happy days!!
Hopefully see at least some of you tomorrow at the shed, we do not plan to have a zoom meeting tomorrow and I may have to pick someone's brains as to a shed conversion - could be good practice for the real thing!.

Regards to all.
