Hi

I’m still keeping my head down over the next few days as though I’m feeling a lot better I was still testing positive yesterday and Mary still has it too. She has had to miss a couple of hospital appointments so that’s not good and we have them arranged for a couple of weeks hence so I’m going to try and keep clear until we get those visits done with.
It did however allow me to get a few jobs done in the house, the office is now a bit tidier, numerous blank CD’s and DVD’d are boxed ready for charity shops and the church service recordings. Used but no longer needed ones will adorn the garden at some point. While I was doing all of this Jim asked me if I had any information on the Iceland geothermal scene for his cruise talks so a wee trip down memory lane there too while I sorted out some stuff for him.
Having done all of that I then got my printer set up and made some shed generic business cards along the line of the sample I prepared a few months ago. I’ll take them to the shed in due course together with a few badge holders and lanyards which are also excess to requirements but can be used around the shed when we have visits or whatever. I’ve not had any member mugshots yet to add to what I have unless Iain has received any. That’s for another week though.
I had a long chat with John today and a catch up on the activities around the scout store and premises, all sounds good and the fresh paint on the gates has made quite a difference to them too. There are no definite plans for tomorrow as quite a few are on Holiday and Rab is still not got both his feet back in working order.
The swap shop continues within the shed, Lyall has decided to take up archery and an archery set previously owned by John then passed to Kenny will be going his way. Kenny has gone back to work with Sainsburys which is why he’s not been attending the shed so thanks Kenny for keeping us informed and we’ll see you again sometime either on your rounds or whatever!!
Just a wee reminder that any member can respond to this email with news or whatever and it will go to Iain who will inform the rest of us so please keep in touch even if you can't be there in person.
That’s all for this week, keep me updated with what’s going on and I can only re-iterate what I said last week, don’t get Covid if you can possibly avoid it as it causes all sorts of ongoing repercussions even if you are not too ill with it.
Regards to all
