It’s that time of the week again and it has been a busy one for quite a few in the shed. John has been fabricating down at the shed, Alastair has been sanding s seat Bill has donated and they are looking for painters now. Stewart and Hugh have been busy getting displays material for their show and tell in Balerno. Today Stuart 1 came and did my electrics refurbish at the consumer unit end in my house and in the afternoon Stewart 2 and myself progressed the Muirwood Park stuff a bit farther.

Hopefully the weather will stay reasonable for tomorrow because I need a team to remove the tarp on one end of the portacabin and remove a bit of the old roof to take exact measurements for the roof rafters and sheets. I’ve now got a couple of quotes and possibly another on Monday but need exact sizes before making any orders. My brother gave me ideas for insulating after roofing which will help us because getting insulated roofing sheets seems to be almost impossible apart from at exhorbitant price. I’m hoping we can discuss this tomorrow, I should have a plan drawn up by then if all goes to plan.

I’d also like to get the defib installed and I think Bing has already put the signage to the shed for it. I’ll take a selection of brackets so we can see what’s best for it.

That’s it for now, hopefully I’ll see some of you tomorrow. I’m off up to Harlaw tonight to show the Balerno Scouts what renewable energy is all about and that there can be life without expensive gas so need to get this off before I go.
