Hi
Let's hope this weeks notes arrive in a more timely fashion, I eventuially got mine on Saturday!
I had not planned to be at the shed tomorrow as an electrician was going to be coming to complete the new wiring to my workshop. Unfortunately he has tested positive for Covid so will now be out of action for ten days – a timely reminder to us all that things are still far from normal.
John, Bing and Iain have made great strides in fitting out the internal structure of the portacabin and I have now ordered up the rafters for the new roof and they should be arriving tomorrow morning for a wee bit of light exercise for those of us able to securely store them until we are ready to use them. This could be some time away as a break is needed at least for those working inside and until we have all the materials for the roof sorted and on site it is probably best to keep what we have intact.
Stewart and myself went to the shed and moved the bag of sand which was in the way of trailer movements and would also be in the way for the wood delivery tomorrow so we had a morning with bucket and spade but no ice creams! Today the same pair were round at Muirwood Park seeing if we could help with some repairs to things in the park. We think we can and will do it in our own time but using shed materials wherever possible so that we can get some revenue into the shed while helping them. If new materials are required the Park committee will order in for us but otherwise we will work on donations for shed materials used.Stewart also answered Hugh's plea for help with building a sensory board and has had all sorts of knick knacks donated to put on it so he's back to his childhood making a lot of noise!
I will be taking over some more bits for the playbus tomorrow but whether we start to fit anything or paint any panels for the school fence will depend on what others have planned. I know Iain wants to talk about the proposal from Hugh to have a presence at the next opportunity for publicising ourselves which I think is in Balerno.
I am awaiting information from the Scouts as to where they would like the defibrillator sited. Graham is away all this week so it will not go to them for discussion until he gets back.
We will continue our self registration to the meeting which we started last Friday and those of you who have logged in to the website this week will note that there is an attendance register which can be filled in. Iain I have filled it in for my visit today and saved the attendance. I have filled one in for tomorrow, submitted the data but have not done the next step as I haven;t been there yet! Is this correct? You can give us a tutorial tomorrow please!
I hope to see as many of you as possible there to view progress, have a chat and possibly start to get projects moving again if the weather and inclination allows.

Regards to all, stay safe and well
