BALERNO SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
No staff available to accompany students this week, so no requirement to attend. But in the meantime, if you have spare garden tools you don't use please consider donating them to the school; things like full sized spades and forks and well as hand sized. Bring them to the shed and we'll get them over to the school.
Could those shedders who have been issued with their sweatshirts, kindly wear them to the shed tomorrow. We need to have some photos taken showing us in 'action poses'.💪
I know that will be difficult, but Stewart Still will be on hand to make sure that any poses are non-pornographic and are fit for public consumption.😁🍆

COVERING/AWNING FOR PATIO AREA
- I checked the cost of a PERGOLUX pergola, and it was nearly £3000. It's made in Norway, and is supposed to be able to withstand severe weather, but I think we can have a go at making one ourselves. It will be a lot cheaper, and if it does break, we can easily fix it.
- Does anyone have experience/knowledge of 'GROUNDSCREWS'? In my research I came across these extremely large metal screws that are drilled into the ground to create foundations for things like pergolas, garden houses and the like. But they look expensive as well and sometimes require a dedicated team of installers to fit them...
All successfully fitted, tested and up and running. I have the IMMS logo for inclusion on our website.
We are still on the lookout for more slabs. Murdo has a pile of them ready for collection.
Always on the lookout for more pallets for kindling and planters...
We need a project manager to 'own' getting the trailer roadworthy, including number plates for shedders' cars.
Martin is looking to put together a small team to get the CNC machine working properly. If you have a spare PC processing unit you could donate to the shed, he'd be very grateful. It doesn't have to be powerful; just a pc.
The Scouts are still looking for a sack barrow, so if you have one kicking about and you don't need it, or know someone who has one and wants rid of it, bring it to the Shed. Grant Anderson wants it.
- two boats booked from Ratho on Friday 10th April and two boats booked from Falkirk on Friday 17th July. Both from 10.30am - 3.30pm.
- Shed lunch is at Tanners on the Lanark Road Juniper Green on Friday 20th March. They advertise a 2 course lunch for £15. Alex needs a non-returnable deposit of £10 asap.

RACKING FOR BATTERY POWERED TOOLS AND CHARGERS
John is currently adding some auxiliary tool bins/holders to the racking to keep spare bits and bobs for them.
That's about it for this week folks, so stay safe and warm.
