LARCH CLADDING FOR STEEL CONTAINER

I have received 2 quotations for the larch cladding based on coverage of 45 feet by 8 feet with a square edge (that's allowing a 50% overlap for each board). One quote was for £587.50 including VAT, the other £2402.40 including VAT. I'm waiting on a third quote... The cheaper quote is from Thornbridge (through our relationship with Skanska UK) so I reckon we'll accept their quote whatever the third one turns out to be; I can't see it being any cheaper. I've sent them on to Lyall.

Alex, our resident comedian🤩🥳🤬??? and entertainment manager has arranged a Shed Lunch at Dhaba36 in Barberton. For those of you who don't know, it's an Indian Restaurant and it serves lovely, delicious food. Numbers are increasing exponentially so reserve your place asap by letting Alex know.

BENCH LOCKS IN SCOUT HALL

Ali Skinner is making a new prototype of the bench lock 'keeper'. it'll be made from aluminium and will be stronger and more durable than the previous version. let's hope the tenants appreciate his hard work and are a bit more circumspect with the locks.

Heriot Watt University campus are holding THE LOTHIANS MODEL RAILWAY EXHIBITION on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April from 10am - 4:30pm. I've asked Alex to organise a trip there when he gets back from his holidays. Should be a grand day out!!!!! Did anyone notice the photo of Alex in his floral shirt... I couldn't make out where the shirt ended and the foliage began!!

We are starting to receive more requests for 'work' so we need to be aware of all that's going on. Hopefully we can discuss tomorrow at coffee time and keep things in order.
