Here's a list of what we are currently up to... I want to keep this list going every week so we don't forget what needs to be done (or should I say what we will eventually get round to!!!!)

CURRY P S SUMMER FAYRE SIGNPOSTS.
We made fantastic progress last week in refurbishing the bases. Tomorrow we will concentrate on the posts with a view to getting all 20 odd repaired and returned to Fiona Hamil.
I have now given them 3 coats of yacht varnish and they are hanging up in my garage drying off. They'll be fully hard in a week so I'll bring them to the shed next Friday. I've informed Julie Mackay from the school that they'll be at the shed next Friday 9th May.

POSSIBLE NEW MEN'S SHED AT MEGGETLAND AREA - PROSPECTIVE VISIT
Ian White might visit us tomorrow to chat and pick up advice and tips on setting up a Men's Shed. His group are currently doing rowing boat repairs at Meggetland and he's wondering what the setting up of a Shed involves.

NEW LARCH CLADDING ON CONTAINER

I sent a photo of the completed cladding to Scott Lawrence from Skanska UK. He is most impressed and says we "will be the talk of the steamie"π§Ίπ

CURRIE NURSERY POLYTUNNEL
I'm looking for help in erecting their newly bought polytunnel. I said I would pop over tomorrow to look at what the requirements would be (especially from a ground anchor perspective). I don't know much about polytunnels, and would appreciate any assistance, so if anyone is available to accompany me to the nursery, I'd really appreciate it. There's no time pressure on this, but I want to be certain it's something we are capable of doing before I commit further. If we can't do it, no problem.

John is on holiday in Jersey... let's make a real mess in the workshop to welcome him back when he returns.π€‘ππ
Keep safe and see you tomorrow.
