I've received a reply from Val Reid that we can have half a stall at the November Farmers' Market in Balerno. We should have stuff to sell by then!!!! I have also asked Val to pass on our details so we can get a stall at the Currie Craft Fair in the Community Centre on 30th November.

Paul and John have been working together making Xmas decs from the excess flooring we received last week. They will have their results on show at the shed tomorrow.

BENCH FOR COLINTON COTTAGES

Davy McLuckie took the refurbished bench to the care home where a delighted John Wright made immediate use of it. (see picture).

The AGM will take place tomorrow after normal shed activities, in the Scout Hall.
|
As Guy Fawkes night approaches, we need to be mindful that having a lot of wood on show is catnip to those that want to nick it, so please don't bring any pallets etc. to the shed until at least after the 5th of November. Any wood that is brought, needs to be well hidden!!!

Do we want to hold Open Days at the Shed. Maybe something for AOB on tomorrow's AGM??

Scott Lawrence has contacted me to let us know that Thornbridge Sawmills will deliver 8 lengths of larch tomorrow between 1000 and 1200 hrs.
