I have been keeping tropical fish for nearly fifteen years and this week, whether it's a sign of climate change or some other harbinger of doom, my catfish have produced about 12 baby kitten-fish. I have had catfish for about 10 years and this is the first time they have bred. I assumed they were all the same sex, but there you go🐠🐟

I will remove the bench I want for Vicky tomorrow, to make room for any other bench/es that appear. It could be a nice little earner for the shed, assuming there's not too much work needing to be done to them.

Now is the time to start thinking about what we can and can't do for Christmas. Ali 2 Sheds' wee Santa snowmen were popular last year, and they are easy to make. Bird boxes, wheelbarrows etc., are all doable. Let's talk about them tomorrow at coffee time.

PC May has been in contact asking if we have finished them!! I replied we were waiting on him to come back to us with stuff from the council for us to fit. As it looks like it's going to be up to us to kit out the LPSs, if you have any spare plastic down pipe/bag containers, please bring them to the shed tomorrow and we'll attach them to the boards. I also told him we had a third LPS for him to collect.

A young chap called Dave Ogden may make an appearance tomorrow, to have a look round and see if we fit his idea of a group he would want to join. Please look out for him.

As previously published on WhatsApp, there will be a celebration of Mary's life at Currie Kirk on TUESDAY 12th August at 2pm, with a get together afterwards at the Kingsknowe Golf Club.

Martin Caldwell intimates that the team will demo it to the Scouts for the first time on Monday at 7pm. Bring your race cars!!!
