Eloise Davis, School Captain at Forrester High School contacted Stewart Still by email earlier this week to ask the following:

"I am writing to invite you to a charity fair for our S3 Youth Philanthropy Initiative project. The YPI project is where we invite our S3 pupils to become philanthropists, they must choose a charity, campaign and present in the hope of winning £3000 for their chosen charity…which could be you! At Forrester’s we are nationally recognised for the work and dedication our pupils have given to the YPI project. We were also just recently named the most improved school in Scotland.

The Charity Fair will enable our pupils to interact directly with your charity and others, and learn more about charities in Edinburgh they can support. We would provide you with a table and chairs if you could bring leaflets and banners for advertising this would be amazing!

We would love to see you on Wednesday the 26th of August from 10:30 until 1:00 and have a stall at our fair. We are hoping to have about 20-30 other charities at this event and would love you to be one of them.

I think we should attend, so I am looking for volunteers to help 'man' the stall. We don't have leaflets as such, but we could have a brainstorm and come up with something and I can get it printed. We can discuss tomorrow.
