Hi

Evening all,

STEWART STILL
Several members have now visited Stewart, and by all accounts he seems cheery enough. Certainly, on the day I visited him, he was chatting away like a canary!! I'm pleased to say that the infection in his leg is responding to the antibiotics he's been taking.... He really appreciates the food parcels we take in. Let's hope he can get out for Christmas.🎅

PALLETS AND KINDLING
Kindling is still selling fast. I asked Brecks again on Monday past to deliver another load, so we'll keep a lookout for them tomorrow!!! We've been pretty well wiped out of all our stock!!!

CHRISTMAS LUNCH
We need to be at the Ricci Inn for 1 o'clock. Our Treasurer has agreed that a subsidy of £10 per person will be paid for by the Shed. Remember and bring cash so you can square up with Alex on the cost of the meal.

SCOTT LAWRENCE FROM SKANSKA UK LTD
We should receive a visit from Scott Lawrence tomorrow to renew his relationship with the Shed. He has been really busy during the Summer, but hopefully he'll be able to allocate more of his time (and his workers) to assist us in getting some of our outstanding projects under way.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Following on from last week's gathering, there will be more information about how we are going to approach our H&S to ensure the safety and well-being of all our shedders.

TABLE SAW
I have received delivery of the table saw and stand and will drop them off tomorrow morning at the shed. We will not use it until we have had a full safety briefing and signed the appropriate paperwork to prove our competence.

JIG SAW
I also received delivery of the jig saw this afternoon, so I'll bring that along as well.

See you all tomorrow.

Best Regards,

Rab Mason
