Hi

Evening all.

Well, my conservatory remodelling goes on and on with collateral damage to the central heating system. The tiling is nearly complete (I'm impressed with Alan's work) but the guys who fitted the additional radiators managed to fill our CH system with so much air that even though we flushed the system and bled all the radiators, the hot water circuit still doesn't want to play ball. Nevertheless, our heating engineer is on the ball (better than Hearts tonight) and will be shortly returning to fit auto vent valves and a filter to the boiler to catch all the gungy sediment circulating around. Can't wait...

But on to more Sheddy things...
Sad to report that Jeff won't be coming back to the shed. He said it really wasn't for him, but we've told him that he is always welcome back if he has a change of heart.

Talking of hearts, Stewart is still in hospital waiting for a bypass. He doesn't want visitors, but he keeps in touch regularly via WhatsApp, so we generally know what's going on. The nurses haven't gone on strike yet, so he must be behaving himself, (or maybe they've given him a sedative...)

KINDLING
I haven't been to the shed for a couple of weeks now but I'm told that we have sold a lot of kindling, so tomorrow, all hands on deck to chop and bag wood for kindling. And for those of you who just want to chat, the weather looks OK for an al fresco blether.

SCOUT GRASS
Colin once again has kindly volunteered to cut it, so there may be an opportunity for a helper to clear up the cuttings.

NETHER CURRY PRIMARY SCHOOL BOAT
Iain will be taking the boat round to the school while the children are in class, around 1030 to 1100hrs to set up the boat tonsure the little tykes can't sail down the Forth!!!
I understand he has a group of willing volunteers to assist in the launch at the playground.

NEW PROJECTS
We have a moratorium on taking on new projects so we can finally finish off our own Shed.

ELECTRICITY
John has been diligently working to bring power and light into the new workshop with a new consumer unit being fitted and earth bonding to the container (John can explain...)

I won't be able to get to the shed tomorrow as I want to ensure the tiler finishes the floor in the conservatory (and the little matter of paying him for his trouble).

See you sometime

Best Regards,
