Ian Crook of UHUT Ltd will drop by at 1000hrs tomorrow to drop off some wood offcuts that he cannot use. There are two or three dozen sheets of thinnish plywood about 2.4 metres long as well as numerous 30-40cm lengths of wood which might be ideal for planters.

Please see Stewart Still if you want to learn how to use a router safely. He'll hold coaching sessions to ensure you leave with al your fingers intact!!! Once the date/s have been agreed, bring a piece of wood you want to practice on.

I have ordered a reciprocating saw and an angle grinder, both De Walt battery items. They should be here by Monday. They come with cutting discs and saw blades and a duffel bag each.

The shed lunch takes place next Friday. the 20th March at 1230-1300hrs. Those shedders who haven't paid/specified their food order please let Alex know ASAP.

Martin is leading this project with help from Robert. Still looking for a pc to control their software. There is a Community Led Enterprise at the bottom of Leith Walk that may be able to sell us a second hand pc.

RUSSELL FINDLAY MSP - VISIT

We have been approached to host a potential visit by Russell Findlay MSP, Leader of the Scottish Conservatives, to the Pentland Men’s Shed in the coming weeks to learn more about the work we do, the challenges and opportunities facing men’s sheds in Scotland, and how the Scottish Conservatives can further support these vital organisations in the Scottish Parliament. He would like to meet some of the men involved, try his hand at some activities, and hear more about the shed first hand. He’d also like, if possible, to invite some of the media along. Before I respond, we need to discuss...
