Hi

Evening all,

LARCH CLADDING FOR STEEL CONTAINER
I spoke with Scott Lawrence on Tuesday morning and to cut a long story short, he's agreed to fully finance the Thornbridge sawmill invoice for the larch cladding for the shipping container. He will also arrange for his guys to assist us putting up the cladding. They will use their volunteer day for this. (Alli McKillop, can you send me info on the CB News magazine so I can do a piece for them about Skanska UK and Scott's involvement with the Shed????).

LUNCH on FRIDAY 21ST FEBRUARY
Alex, our resident comedian🤩🥳🤬??? and entertainment manager has arranged a Shed Lunch at Dhaba36 in BALERNO. Be there for 1 pm.

BENCH LOCKS IN SCOUT HALL
Ali Skinner has completed the making of several replacement 'keeps' for the Scout benches. We hope to fit them tomorrow. (definitely!!!)

NOTICE BOARDS IN SCOUT CONTAINER
We have been asked to fit a couple of notice boards in the Scout container behind the hall and Lyall is leading this project. The boards have already been cut to size and just need fixing to the wall. The notice boards are to inform the Scouts of any damage to outdoor equipment and the whereabouts of kit loaned to Scout leaders etc.

LITTER PICKING STATION
We have started the construction of the first prototype of the LPS for the Police. We should get most of it finished in the next week or two and I will then contact James May of Police Scotland for a final sign off and acceptance. He may want to alter the finished design but that should not be a problem.

HOMECARE KIT
Following on from last week's item about the Homecare Kit, what do you suggest it should include. I'm open to all reasonable suggestions.

TOOL DONATIONS
Now that we have decided on making up homeware kits, I think we should re-start the practice of accepting offers of tool donations. We now have adequate means to either scrap or otherwise dispose of the tools we don't require. We have already received an offer of tools from a lady in Greenbank.

Stay safe and keep well.

Best Regards,
