I had a great time at the Royal International Air Tattoo (after we had queued in traffic for 4 hours to get in). Really loud!!!

I have a lawnmower for the Shed, courtesy of WORK AID, a charity my pal volunteers for down in Chesham. It's been refurbished and is in good working order. Hopefully, Colin (or any other shedder for that matter) will have many hours of fun with it, cutting the Scouts' grass😀.

The system seems to be running OK just now, with no outages over the past couple of weeks...

PENTLAND COMMUNITY CHEST GRANT

We were unsuccessful with our application. It was my fault. I used projects that were already in progress or complete, asking for a grant to re-imburse us for the expenses, but they turned us down because their entry criteria is for projects that have yet to be started. So my apologies for this lack of understanding. They have encouraged us to apply for the next round, so we'll need to think of something that's acceptable to them. The PCC also recall seeing feedback from the Shed for the 2023 grant we DID receive (CCTV stuff), but can't lay their hands on it. Looks like they have lost it. I have checked our web site but cannot find any correspondence, so if any member has a copy of the feedback, can you send it to me please. If not, then they have asked us to use their in-house feedback form off the web.
