I had a very pleasant day out yesterday in Falkirk, meeting up with some schoolfriends I had not seen for over 50 years. The occasion was to celebrate the passing of 50 years since we used to meet in a local pub called the Avondhu, just along from the Grangemouth refinery complex. And yes, drink was taken!!!!

CURRIE P S PLAYGROUND SIGNS
|
JULIE MACKAY of Currie Primary school is looking for us to make some playground signage. If we accept the project we will need to make 22 signs - 3 for each primary class 1-7 and one for the nursery, making 22 in total. I'll bring some photos of her suggestions, but they WILL need a peg on them so they can be stuck into soil. (They are for planters). Maybe Stewart can lead with this one and show the others how to make them. We also need to make final progress on the atrium refresh... Liam/Alistair??

I have emailed James May to invite him to the shed to see our progress. He has replied and is hopeful of visiting us on Monday 24th March.

APPROPRIATE CONTENT ON THE WHATSAPP CHAT GROUP
|
Just a gentle reminder to ensure humour that is close to the bone or could offend is dropped on to the OLD and NEW group.
|
The wood will be delivered on Monday morning between 10 and 12 o'clock. Both Ali Skinner and I will not be available next week so we need a contact to give to Scott Lawrence for liaison purposes.

We also have the chance of dismantling a trampoline. The metal from the trampoline can go to scrap (the resident, Lee Moone will dispose of the non metallic bits). It's located on the Lanark Road West, basically next to Chalky's gaffe. Preferred date for demolition and removal is Friday 14th March and we can get a car to the back of his house using the Currie Bowling Club road. I'd prefer it if Stewart Stills did NOT attend this one, just in case.....🤭 I'm looking for some volunteers for this one.
