BALERNO SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
School Holidays, so we won't be there tomorrow. I've bought a container of Jeyes Fluid to clean the chess board. We just need to obtain black and white masonry type paint for the slabs.

ROYAL OBSERVATORY VISIT BLACKFORD HILL - 29TH APRIL
Iain Millar has intimated that his wife has organised the above visit and there are three spaces left (as at Tuesday past). Please let Iain know if you want to go. It's on a 'first come first served basis.
Pete from Breck's is supposedly dropping off some pallets tomorrow. I've told him not to bring the small crate-sized pallets used for carrying slate because they are no use to us. We sold 30 bags last week so our stock is a wee bit low at the moment. We might also get pallets from Ali 2 Shed's contact.

SCOUT CONTAINER PLASTIC BORDER.
Graham has just whatsapped me to say the plastic border has detached again. I've said we would look at it this week. He's happy with that.
The camera overlooking the shed seems to have another giant cobweb obscuring the lens. Need to fix it asap.

I've been in contact with PERGOLUX and obtained a DISCOUNT for the purchase of two 3x4 metre pergolas. They will fit in front of the portacabin on the patio without any major modifications to the ground. Stewart Still and I measured the ground last week. The normal retail cost for two pergolas is £9178. We can get them for £5356.80. That's a total saving of £4621.20 on the full retail prices. PERGOLUX are also throwing in two heaters worth £800 for FREE. The design of the pergolas is such that we can add accessories like screens at a later date, as and when we can afford them. We can discuss tomorrow. I've attached a screen grab of the pro forma invoice. I've also looked at the one in MortonHall Garden centre and the offering at B and Q Hermiston gate. They won't do discounts.

Murdo McEwan has recently undergone a hernia operation and is now recovering at home. He's in a bit of discomfort just now so we won't see him at the shed for a couple of weeks. We wish him a speedy recovery and no doubt he'll be back walking the length and breadth of Scotland in no time!!!

Welcome to Neil Jeffries, hope you are finding us to your liking!!!!
That's about it for this week folks, so stay safe and warm.
